The Storied Lives Team
At Storied Lives our team approach to life story work is designed to bring everyone - caregivers, care recipients and their families - closer together. As such, the Storied Lives team is growing, with each new initiative. Behind the scenes, however, you will find myself (Christine), Dagmar and more recently, Hannah.
Christine Novy directs and oversees the different Storied Lives initiatives. She is a Registered Psychotherapist with a formative training in drama therapy, a specialization in narrative therapy, and over 20 years' experience working with individuals and groups in both therapeutic and educational contexts.
Dagmar Horsman is a communications coordinator for The Council on Aging of Ottawa and the photographer for all Storied Lives projects.
Hannah Drennan-Searson has a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology, a background teaching children music, and a growing interest in narrative therapy. During the recent Life Stories Project at Rideau-Perley Day Program, Hannah led the group in songs and movement from around the world.
